Betrayal

In reality betrayal occurs every once in a while. In the Great Gatsby betrayal is a regular part of life. Especially betrayal in the marriages. The biggest betrayer of all being Tom. He cheated not once not twice, but the reader in fact doesn't even know how many times he has cheated. Being a cheater and being unfaithful is one of the worst things a person can do to their marriage. And eventually it comes back to bite him in the butt being that Daisy ends up cheating on Tom with Gatsby. The "A" on the poster is written in red. This was done because of the book "The Scarlett Letter". In this particular novel a woman is made to wear a scarlet A in representation of adulterer, because what better way to represent betrayal. The rest of the letters were written in pink because it is similar Ar to red but not as vibrant. The amount of Betrayl in "The Great Gatsby" is absolutely herendous.
